Why Work With a Website Design Agency?

A website design agency can be a great decision, or a horrible one, depending on where you are at with your business. If you are looking to determine whether a website is a good decision for you, this is the right post.

What is a Website Design Agency?

A website agency basically designs a website – all the pages, forums, everything; And maintains it. We deal with the back end, hosting, domain, code, as well as the side visitors see (design). A website design agency will make your website look incredible, something one could never achieve without a team of professionals. So if that is something you need, or you think a professional website would reflect your brand the best, maybe it is something to consider.

Example

A website design agency can bring incredible results, for example, the Tinypilot website redesign that increased their sales by 66%.

All in all, a website will help businesses with their digital presence, and the impact on conversion rates and brand impressions. Websites are great, but they require careful planning and execution.

Asses your Needs

Before reaching out, assess your needs. Are you looking to create an e-commerce platform, get more conversions, or create a blog? Knowing your objectives will guide your discussions going into the project. Practacly any agency you go to would like you to have some idea of what you want to see from your website and get out of the partnership.

Budget Considerations

Establish a budget that considers your needs. This will help you filter out agencies that are either too expensive or cheap.

Timeline Considerations

Knowing the timeline will let the agency be prepared ahead of time to make the website. Knowing your timeline will also be a filter for agencies as some move slow and some move fast.

Researching Agencies

Not every agency is good, and even if they are, that doesn’t mean they are the right fit for you. By acknowledging the variables above (budget and timeline), you will be able to narrow down the options. Make sure the work and style of the agency reflects what you are looking for.

The Culture Fit

This is a big one for us, just like you can make a filter of agencies you want to work with, we have made a filter for businesses we want to work with. We focus on lifestyle brands and informational product businesses because that is what we can deliver best. We also see the importance in culture, (having an agency in common with your interests that understands you).

Communication is Key

This topic can also be a way to figure out what agencies are right for you. However, you will never know what communication will look like until you get into workking with them. This is such an important variable in choosing a website design agency – it can be the single killer to a successfully executed partnership. That’s why we believe you should only work with agencies that take pride in their communication.

Communication is Very Important!

Communication will let an agency know exactly what you want and how you want it. If an agency doesn’t communicate well, usually they just want to get the project done the easiest way and doesn’t want to take your needs into consideration.

What the Communication Process looks like (with us)

We like to always start with a set of calls to asses your business in the best light so we can consider everything going into the process. We then go on a call and we will present our process to you – to see if we are a right fit for you.

We then make a contract and get started with the website. We make regular calls during the process, maybe 2x a week, to inform you and keep you involved. Once done with the website, we maintain it, designing and adding blogs, switching out images, and copy as you wish. At this stage we might call less than 1x – 2x a month.

Communication takes place in the form of zoom calls, where we talk face to face and we can present. We also email as much as needed and can set up a call schedule so we don’t need to do unnecessary emails.

Collaboration During the Design Process

Constructive feedback from you point of view is needed, We also make suggestions for the website as we see fit, but we never add anything unannounced. We will often built different options and variations of a section on a website, often asking you which you prefer.

Launching the Website

When we have finished the website and went over everything on a call, letting you see it first hand, we will make sure we are on the same page before we launch. We prepare for the launch by scheduling it, and then actually launch the website. We track performance and will start maintaining it.

Long-Term Relationship

After the launch, we might lessen the communication, but when we do have a monthly call, we go over results and analyze them. We also need you to be able to give feedback and feel free to tell us when and what to update.

Conclusion

Partnering with a website design agency can transform your online presence, but it requires careful planning and collaboration. By understanding your needs, communicating effectively, and being open to flexibility, you can create a website that not only meets your expectations but also drives business growth.
